A wet week for us but nothing compared to the terrible floods that we are now seeing south of here. Such extreme weather events seem to be becoming more and more frequent. Our thoughts are with those many people who have lost their homes this weekend.

 

A very happy event for me this week was taking photos of my friend Melissa’s beautiful baby. It was such a fun morning and Emily was such an easy baby to photograph.

Something else that is making me happy is Flynnie’s developing love for Lego. He still has a bit of trouble squeezing the bricks all the way together but he is getting there.

 

By Sunday the sun was back and it was very, very warm. Flynnie and I went for an early swim before it got too hot, but even at 9am it was already 34 degrees!
