The show came to town this week. I am not a big fan but saw it differently this time through a series of photos I took on my iPhone and then ‘turned vintage’ in photoshop. The one above is my favourite. It makes the show look much nicer than it really is!
As usual I am sharing this post over on Deb Duty’s blog for This or That Thursday. Click over there if you haven’t already for great photos and inspiration.

Oh it does look nice – bright and summery looking with that beautiful blue sky. Love what you have done with your picture.

Thanks so much Deb – like I said in the post it makes the show look SO much nicer than it really is!
Love this image… has a real 1950′s feel to it.

Thanks so much Molly – that is just what I was aiming for

Agree I love your photo vintage ~ does make it look like a much more elegant event ~~ thanks, ^_^ (A Creative Harbor)
I’ve never been a big fan, either, even when my daughter was small… maybe it’s the people that run them? Great photo of it, tho, love the texture! =)
Lots of events are improved when looking at them

LOVE this photo!
What a great vintage look. It does change the whole perspective of the fair coming to town. Certainly makes it more inviting!!!
I like that setting as well! COOL
Looks so fun!
Love the capture & I feel the same way about carnivals.
I agree with the other comments. Carnivals are kinda creepy and gross, but the pic makes it look like it does through a childs eyes — Exciting and fun!
If you get a chance, stop by my blog and “Like” Hood Photography on Facebook! Thanks!
